Now that Halloween is over, I simply couldn’t let my blog still wear its Halloween costume anymore.  Therefore I’m introducing a new but familiar theme, Futuristic.  Those of you who have been following my blog for awhile will recognize it.  I adapted it to the new underlying theme template I’m using now.

For those of you keeping track, there are now three looks you can choose:

You can find the links to change back and forth between the different themes in the sidebar as well.  I’m open to feedback about any of them as long as it’s surrounded by lots and lots of praise on how wonderful they are.  Be kind; real criticism makes me cry.

What’s that you say?  Something about a space-age cartoon?  You say it’s called ‘The Jetsons’?  Nope… my lawyer advises me that I’ve never heard of it.

  1. I like the Futuristic one! Since they’ve never made a cartoon about the space age with floating cities, maybe you could turn your Futuristic blog into a cartoon…..it could be a about a gay couple, George and his partner Jim…..George works at a condom factory called Cosmo’s Condoms…”Condoms as Big as the Universe!” and Jim stays home and decorates the house with things he bought at IKEA 3000…….. just a thought :)

  2. I’ve always loved your futuristic theme! But maybe it should be called retro-futuristic, since the new vision of the future doesn’t look so colorful and cartoony. With the climate crisis, warring zealots and Ann Coulter, we’ll be lucky to have cities at all - let alone pretty floating ones.

  3. Yay, this one was always my favorite!

  4. YAY I am so happy you brought this theme back. Futuristic rocks, and so does Elroy!

  5. I like the futuristic theme - very classy!

  6. Meet Scott-O-Rama!! His boy, Buckaroo!! Doggie, Bailey….Other dog Karter!! (I can’t remember the name of the cat)….

All you need is a photo of you walking Karter on a treadmill…ruh roh!!

I’m sure that the Hanna-Barbera lawyers will go easy on you.

  7. I’m gonna guess you let down the raving right again this year by not handing out apples with razors or drugs last night.

  8. Dave V.-

No, none of that. Instead I converted all the kiddies to homosexuals.

  9. If Scott-o-rama is the Future, then it can’t be half-bad.

  10. Scott, I just love this Futuristic look !!!!

Looks great. It’s my new fav !!!

Though, I like them all. It’s like coming home after mom moved all the furniture around !!!!

  11. Yippie!!! Futuristic is back!!! That was always my fave!!!

  12. i like this one better anyway; it is the one i think of when i think ’scott-o-rama’

  13. I like bob’s idea about the cartoon with a gay couple, one working in a condom factory.

As for the themes, I like them all! And what a nifty trick to be able to switch from one to the next with just a click of the mouse. But by now, Friday night, I’ve had a couple of drinks and this sort of thing really amuses me when I’m tipsy.

  14. Didn’t you have a theme like this a year or so ago, Scott? I seem to remember from battles on Blog Explosion that you had a futuristic theme back then too. In any case, this looks great.

  15. I’m loving it! As you know, anything with a martini in it, I hold especially dear to my heart.
