This Is Halloween (Again)
Posted by: Scott at 7:11 pm in Miscellaneous Other Stuff, VideoI posted this last year, but I just can’t help myself, I love this song and video:
The version here was redone by Marilyn Manson for the re-release of Tim Burton’s "The Nightmare Before Christmas" last year. It’s playing again in theatres this year.
Here’s another one I love that I posted last year too from "So You Think You Can Dance" (Season 2). It’s "Ramalama (Bang Bang)" by Roísín Murphy. It earned choreographer Wade Robson an Emmy nomination.
Finally, if you need some music to scare the kiddies while you give out candy, here’s a Halloween mix I put together last year. You can download it by right-clicking on this link and choosing "Save Target (Link) As…" or you can listen to it here by pressing the play button below. It contains both of the songs above as well as lots of creepy sound effects and music.
I love Halloween, can you tell? Hope you have a happy one… if the zombies, witches, and ghosts don’t get ya first!

I hope you post this crazy song EVERY year!!! Its one of my halloween favorites. Thanks.
I’m way into Halloween too! In fact, I took the day off today in order to finish my trick-or-treat setup. A fully-enclosed maze in my front yard and front porch, filled with ghoulish things to scare the kiddies.
Twenty hours of work for a mere two hours of fun. Not a bad trade-off.
And “This is Halloween” is a great song from a great movie.
Cameron and I saw the 3-D version last week and it was great. The 3-D effect was really amazing plus we both love the movie as well.
BTW, my newly relaunched Internet radio station is playing my Halloween mix all day.
Wade Robson’s choreography has gotten crazy ever since he stopped choreographing for Britney Spears & NSync, IMO.
And I ALWAYS know what Robson’s choreography is because everything he does now looks like something from Michael Jackson’s Thriller video.
Angelika-
Did you watch this past season of So You Think You Can Dance? He had some amazing stuff this year. I loved the one he had with the two French hobos, but my favorite was the one where the dancers were representing a hummingbird and a flower.
happy halloween to the both of you!
