Pretty sad when the one-time king of the Internet has to rip-off its competitors this blatantly to survive.

looks like that’s actually Yahoo on the right.

still, point taken, wonder if Yahoo could sue.

    Mark-

Oops… had them backwards. I fixed them now. Thanks.

I’m amazed AOL is still even around.

I had to take AOL to court last year for fraudulent charges made to my checking account.

Suffice to say I got all my money back plus interest.

As far as the new format goes…not the least bit surprised.

    Evil bastards.

Check out radioshack.com and bestbuy.com. Change a view colors here and there and voila! Nearly identical.

I’ve hated AOL for years and years - I have to use it daily, at work, - but I’ve also always considered it the internet with training wheels. It’s perfect for getting grandma and grandpa types wired up. I’ll give them their props, it’s how I started. Does that make it a gateway drug?

I wouldn’t exactly call them the one time king of the internet. The word captor is much more like it. I’m glad they’ve floundered because it what should happen to companies that force content down their customers throat. I still think Gay.com chat rooms were responsible for bringing AOL down.

Bossy would address this issue but she’s too busy trying to figure out how to make her blog look exactly like Dooce’s.

Too funny. How the mighty have fallen. Now they have to copy others to get people to pay attention to them. Or maybe Yahoo has secretly bought them out? Hmmmm….
