My to-do list over the next couple days:

  1. Sleep on old towels and/or blankets
  2. Put up a fence or barrier of some sort around the pool.

Are you connecting the dots yet?  All will be revealed soon!

Are we really allowed to guess?

  2. Scott says:

Sure! Guess away, but I won’t confirm anything at this point.

  3. Phillip says:

Well, I don’t know anymore. The two things don’t connect anymore. Well, three things (including the trip), I lord knows I’ve spent enough time connecting random thoughts thanks to you… Originally I was thinking adoption, simply because of the fence around the pool. Then I couldn’t figure out what that had to do with sleeping on old towels, so I thought maybe a move. But I couldn’t figure out what that had to do with a barrier or fence around a pool…

    So now I’m all confuddled.

    Uh…hello??!?!!?!?!?!? This is TOO easy……PUPPY!!!!!!!!

  5. Mark says:

I think you’re buying a pet ferret. Sleeping on the old towels / blankets, which I assume you would be using for wherever the ferret will live, will transfer your scent to them making it easier for the ferret to become accustomed to you.

If this isn’t it, then I must have a pretty fertile imagination.

I guess payback is a bitch. I won’t tell you about my photos and you won’t tell me about what is happening in the next few days.

Unless you are planning on enlarging your already unwieldly menagerie, I don’t think it’s a new pet. But if it’s a baby, what’s with the old towels and blankets? I’ve never heard of that before.

    They aren’t getting a ferret….they’re getting…University of Arizona student!!!

I would highly suggest some boy from the swim team. The fence is around the pool so that he won’t try to go swimming when he’s supposed to be spit shining Scott’s boots.

Old towels and blankets…that’s what ALL UA students sleep on.

    I know I’m wrong…but it could be.

Whew! Well, I have to tell you I was a tad concerned that you boys were moving to the ‘Ole Pueblo… and we couldn’t have that! But alas these latest “clues” don’t suggest that. (I think!)

However, if “it” is what I think “it” is… it better not be something that will want me to get what I think you’re getting… although I planned on getting “it”… I have just come to peace that we probably shouldn’t get “it.”

So how’s that for cryptic right back at you?

But I guess it all hangs on what the definition of “it” is! ;-)

  9. Craig says:

    Puppy! totally!

    Totally jealous, what kind?

  10. chandira says:

It’s either a puppy or a puppy. Or it could be a puppy.

  11. Debbi says:

I’m guessing puppy. Now we just need to know what kind.
A little tiny type that can fit into a manbag. Or one that will get as big as a volkswagon.

    congrats.

  12. Phillip says:

You know, I also thought of a puppy, but I’ve never heard of sleeping on old blankets or towels…I always get my dogs from the pound though.

I like the idea of getting a UA student…that could be fun.

  13. Chandira says:

Oh, Scott, come ON!! Enough teasing, what is it?? Update, will ya! ;-)

  14. Sylvia says:

It’s got to be a puppy! Will there be lots of pictures of the puppy?

  15. lars says:

It’s gotta be a baby seal. The towels and blankets to get it used to the boys and the fence around the pool to keep it from wandering off. Elementary!

its the 11th… ya need a can opener to help ya spill the beans?
